West Ham Defeats Arsenal-Carabao Cup quarter finals-2023
West Ham Defeats Arsenal
With a convincing win at London Stadium, West Ham Defeats Arsenal with a 3-1 to the Carabao Cup quarterfinals for the first time in over five years.
The home team led by one goal at the halftime break thanks to an unlucky own goal by Ben White. Mohammed Kudus then scored early in the second half to double the lead.
Ben White gave the Hammers an early lead with a header into his own net under minimal pressure. However, keeper Aaron Ramsdale, who was starting for the first time in over a month, felt he was hindered by the lack of VAR technology for the match.
Despite making six changes from the squad that defeated Sheffield United 5-0 the previous weekend, Mikel Arteta’s bench players were unable to have any kind of impact on what was an extremely disappointing evening in east London.
